Cath has a studio in Yorkshire and has given many workshops for the SAA. She will be demonstrating how to paint a hare in the snow – a most suitable subject for the time of year! This will be her first visit to Retford Art Society and we are looking forward to learning from this very experienced and well known artist.

The Swan Studio Creative Sessions
The Swan Studio is open for communal painting on Friday afternoons from 2pm to 4pm at no cost.
Just bring along your choice of mediums and a surface to create on.
​
New comers are welcome and we look forward to supporting and encouraging them.
​
The Swan is at the bottom of Carolgate, through the archway and follow the signs.

Autumn Sessions 2025

This Wednesday will be the last life drawing session of 2025!
We will be starting again in 2026 on Wednesday, February 25th weather permitting.
​
Sessions run from 7pm - 9pm on alternate Wednesdays.
​
The cost is still only £5 for members and £7 for non members.
